 At Pressure Canning Products, we are delighted to share our passion and knowledge of pressure canning. Are you new to this preservation method and would you like to be guided step-by-step through the entire process? Then this workshop is perfect for you!


 The workshop takes place on Wednesday, September 16, at Communicatieweg 17 in Mijdrecht between 11:00 and 15:00. Each workshop has 12 spots available; it will proceed with 6 registrations, and you will be notified by email. If there is no response, the workshop will proceed as planned.


 During the workshop, led by Lisa Moll, you will learn both the theory and practice of pressure canning. You will get hands-on experience canning carrots and making a soup starter. From preparing the vegetables to safely removing the jars from the canner, you will go through the entire process. This way, you will have seen and done everything yourself.


 In addition to practice, we also cover theory. The following topics, among others, are covered:

 
 What is pressure canning?
 
 What is the difference between pressure canning and preserving?
 
 How do temperature and pressure work?
 
 What can you and cannot pressure cann?



 Afterwards, in addition to a gift, you will receive a handy information booklet to take home. In it, you will find all the theory covered during the workshop, including the pressure canning times. This way, you can get started independently at home with full confidence.


 Of course, we also take good care of your inner self. After all, you don't learn very well when you're hungry or thirsty! Our hostess Helma den Hollander spoils you all day long with coffee, tea, soft drinks, a treat, and a delicious lunch. During lunch, we show you how to put a flavorful meal on the table in no time using a soup starter from a jar. In addition, we serve sandwiches and other tasty side dishes, among other things.


 At the end of the workshop, there is ample opportunity to purchase the products present and take them home immediately.
